Poems: Wingsback to poem listing
Just because the travel's poor
the window could have a good view.
Take the ride, the outcome's clear,
the destination is straight to you.
Ride the wings or sail the seas,
hop the rails or take the slide.
You'll never know quite where it leads
except for right to by my side.
I'm going far but won't you say:
"This weather just won't make us last.
You'll surely go far alone, anyway,
just never, ever forget the past."
To you I say: "Just climb aboard,
the path has never been so right."
Staying here will keep you bored,
but with me, action, day and night. |
