Poems: Belleback to poem listing
To continue on this fictional quest
you make me perform my very best.
I put my trust in you this time,
to help me, thoroughly, complete my rhyme.
Now to the point of this crazy prose
I'll tell a story from long ago
about a woman who fell in love
with an angel from up above.
Her name was XXXXX, she was a belle,
all near her knew her full name well.
She had many suitors all around,
men just seemed to be abound.
But love never quite found this young Miss,
no one male ever gave her bliss.
Through her poems she was inspired
to find that perfect man she desired.
One night, asleep, she dreamt of him.
Blond hair, Brown eyes and nice, fair skin.
He spoke to her, and said with love:
"I am your Lord, God up above."
This belle woke up and she concluded
to live her life away, secluded.
She became a nun and gave her life
to the perfect man she saw that night.
And so ends the story of the belle
I wish you luck, I only mean well.
Thank you for your gift of time
and I hope you enjoy the rhyme.
